Bearhood Berlin – General Ticket and Participation Terms (Terms & Conditions)

The organizer of the respective event is Bearhood Berlin, unless stated otherwise in the specific event description.

A contract between the buyer and the organizer is concluded upon completion of the ticket purchase. The order confirmation or the issued ticket serves as proof of the conclusion of the contract and of entitlement to participate.

Tickets are valid exclusively for the event booked. Commercial use of tickets is not permitted. The organizer reserves the right to invalidate tickets in the event of violations of these terms.

If a ticket holder is unable to attend an event, private transfer or private resale of the ticket is permitted.

Resale may only take place at a maximum of the original ticket price, including any advance booking fees. Making a profit or selling at a higher price is not permitted.

Commercial trading of tickets, as well as acquiring tickets for the purpose of resale, is prohibited. The organizer reserves the right to invalidate tickets resold in violation of this rule.

Bearhood Berlin may provide community channels for facilitating the exchange of tickets, or may tolerate the use of existing community channels. This does not create any claim to facilitation or successful transfer of a ticket. Bearhood Berlin is not a party to any private resale and assumes no liability for it.

Returns or refunds of tickets are generally excluded, unless mandatory statutory provisions state otherwise.

In particular, personal reasons such as illness, scheduling conflicts, professional obligations, travel obstacles, or other impediments do not give rise to a claim for a refund.

If an event is cancelled, the ticket price will be refunded in accordance with statutory provisions. In the event of a postponement or material change to the event, participants will be informed. Statutory claims remain unaffected.

Changes to the event schedule are reserved.

This includes, in particular, changes to start and end times, room concepts, program items, and the engagement of other DJs, artists, hosts, or contributors.

Such changes generally do not give rise to a claim for a refund, provided that the overall character of the event is preserved.

If an event cannot be held, or can only be held to a limited extent, due to circumstances beyond the organizer's control, the organizer is not liable for any resulting damages.

This includes, in particular, official orders, security situations, natural events, strikes, technical failures, pandemics, or comparable events of force majeure.

Statutory claims remain unaffected.

Purchasing a ticket does not give rise to a claim to admission.

Admission to the event may be made conditional on statutory requirements, age restrictions, or event-specific participation conditions.

Individual events may be subject to special dress codes, concepts, or participation conditions. These are set out in the respective event description and become part of the contract.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or to exclude persons from the event if: – security risks exist, – applicable laws are violated, – instructions from the organizer, event staff, helpers, or security personnel are not followed, – other guests are significantly harassed, endangered, or disturbed, – the participation conditions for the respective event are not met, – persons are visibly heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

In these cases, there is no claim to a refund of the ticket price.

For security reasons, bag checks and other reasonable security checks may be carried out at the entrance. Anyone who refuses a required security check may be denied admission.

Bearhood Berlin organizes events for men and trans men, as well as – where expressly stated – their friends and supporters.

We stand for an open, respectful, and discrimination-free community. Regardless of origin, nationality, skin color, religion, age, body shape, disability, sexual orientation, or personal background, all participants should feel welcome and safe.

We value the diversity of body shapes, appearances, age groups, and forms of expression within our community. Bodyshaming, exclusion, or demeaning comments have no place at our events.

In particular, the following will not be tolerated: – discrimination of any kind, – racist, antisemitic, queerphobic, or misanthropic statements, – extremist ideology or corresponding symbolism, – harassment, – threats, – violence, – sexual assault, – unwanted physical advances, – abusive behavior, – repeated disregard for personal boundaries.

The express consent of all parties involved is the basis for any interpersonal or physical interaction. No means no.

Participants act responsibly towards other guests and respect their personal boundaries, privacy, and self-determination.

Bearhood Berlin pursues a zero-tolerance policy towards GHB/GBL and the suspected administration of substances without the knowledge or consent of other persons.

Participants who violate these principles or impair the safety and wellbeing of other guests may be excluded from the event at the organizer's discretion.

Depending on the severity of the incident, Bearhood Berlin reserves the right to issue bans from the premises, to exclude future event attendance, and to take further legal action.

In these cases, there is no claim to a refund of the ticket price.

Guests who witness boundary-violating behavior, or who are affected by it themselves, are asked to contact bar staff, entrance staff, members of the event team, designated awareness contacts, or performing artists and DJs immediately so that support can be offered.

The applicable house rules of the venue apply to the event.

Instructions from the venue's staff, security personnel, and the organizer's team must be followed. Violations of the house rules may result in exclusion from the event.

In this case, there is no claim to a refund of the ticket price.

Photo and video recordings may be made during the event for the purposes of event documentation, reporting, and public relations by Bearhood Berlin.

The recordings may be used in particular on websites, social media channels, in printed materials, and in other publications by Bearhood Berlin. In doing so, the legitimate interests and privacy of guests are taken into account.

Participants who do not wish to appear in recordings are asked to inform the organizer or the commissioned photographers on site. The organizer will take this into account to the extent practically possible.

Guests are also obliged, when making their own photo or video recordings, to respect the privacy of other participants and to observe their consent.

Individual events may be subject to special rules, such as prohibitions on photo, video, and audio recordings. These are set out in the respective event description or in the participation conditions announced on site.

Participation in Bearhood Berlin events is generally at the participant's own responsibility.

Depending on the type of event, particular physical or health-related strains may occur. These include, in particular but not exclusively, heat, cold, weather conditions, extended periods outdoors, physical activity, crowds, loud music, light and fog effects, sauna and wellness offerings, and comparable effects typical of the event.

Each participant is responsible for assessing their own fitness to participate and for paying attention to their personal wellbeing.

Instructions from the organizer, event staff, and any security or rescue personnel deployed must be followed.

The organizer is liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damages caused by intent or gross negligence.

In the case of simple negligence, the organizer is only liable for the breach of material contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected. Each participant takes part in the event at their own risk.

The organizer assumes no liability for cloakroom items, valuables, clothing, or other personal belongings, to the extent permitted by law.

Personal data is processed exclusively within the framework of applicable data protection laws. Further information can be found in the organizer's current Privacy Policy.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

Should individual provisions of these Terms & Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.

The statutory provision shall take the place of the invalid provision.

Bearhood Berlin organizes events for the community and its friends. Our goal is to create spaces in which people can meet each other with respect, make new connections, and experience community.

By attending our events, all participants contribute to creating an open, safe, and appreciative atmosphere. Together, we ensure that our events remain places where people can be authentic and feel welcome.
